Shimla is a tourist destination is also the capital of the Himachal state. It is situated in the north-west Himalayas. Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters.

 

Manali

Manali is at altitude of 1,950 m (6,400 ft) in the Beas River valley is an important hill station in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, India, near the northern end of the Kullu Valley. It is located about 250 km (160 mi) north of state capital, Shimla. Manali and the surrounding area is of great significance to Indian culture and heritage as it is said to be the home of the Saptarshi.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Delhi – Shimla [ 360 Kms / 9 Hrs Approx]

  • Arrive Delhi Airport/Railway Station & Transfer by road to Shimla former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh.Set amidst the snow capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas, Arrive & check in the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, Night stay in Shimla

Day 02 : Shimla

  • In the morning visit the Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty.Later take a walking tour of Shimla &, visit the Jakhoo hills which, offers panoramic vies of the Shimla town, Vice-regal lodge Mall road, Night stay in Shimla.

Day 03 : Shimla – Manali [ 260 Kms / 7 Hrs Approx]

  • Morning drive to Manali, A picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 metres. Set amidst pine-clad mountains, which gradually close in on both sides of the Beas and nestling in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest, is a scattered hamlet, which comprises this picturesque summer resort. Arrive & check in the hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure Night stay in Manali.
  • Day 04 : Manali

  • Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Manali covering the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving, Tibetan Monastery and a handicraft center. Rest of the day at leisure OR Enjoy walk to nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for hot sulphur springs & Kullu Valley. By the Evening return to the hotel & Night stay in Manali.
  • Day 05 : Manali

    • After breakfast climb the heights of Himalayan Range to reach the Rotang Pass or the nearest snow point, Play & enjoy in the snow. After lunch at Rohtang Pass visit Solang Valley, which is also called as the ‘Skiers Paradise’ because of its wonderful slopes, makes it an ideal valley for skiing one of its kind. By evening return to the hotel & Night stay in Manali.

    Day 06 : Manali – Chandigarh [ 282 Kms / 6-7 Hrs Approx]

    • After Breakfast check out from the Hotel & drive to Chandigarh ( Approx 6- 7 Hrs.) on arrival Transfer to the Hotel Night stay in Chandigarh.

    Day 07 : Chandigarh – Delhi [ 238 Kms / 5-6 Hrs Approx ]
